Driving south along Evergreen Parkway, also known as Highway 74, from I-70 toward downtown Evergreen, you’ll travel past this beautiful gem of the Jefferson County Open Space System.
Elk Meadows Offers Grassland Trails As Well A Hike to 9,700’+ Elevation at the top of Bergen Peak.
There are several trails providing walking, hiking and biking along well maintained and varied terrain.

Just south of Stagecoach Road across from the south entrance to Elk Meadows is a 7 acre off leash dog park for the furry friends.
Homes Near Elk Mountains
There are several Evergreen neighborhoods within a short distance from Elk Meadows. Of course the largest is Hiwan just across 74, Tanoa at Elk Meadow and The Summit in the northwest quadrant of Evergreen Parkway and Stagecoach Boulevard. A little further west on Stagecoach is Greystone Estates and Evergreen West which tend toward larger acreage properties.
