Mountain Park Home in Evergreen Colorado

Mountain Park Home is an Evergreen community offering magnificent mountain living in a convenient location.  Mountain Park Home is very close to the center of Evergreen, climbing steeply up Bear Mountain just south and west of old downtown Evergreen.  The benefit of the steep terrain is the superior views from many of the homes here!   Unfortunately, the steep roads and driveways can DSC_0161 be a bit dangerous and a little intimidating for those not accustomed to steep switchbacks, icy patches in the wintertime and some moderate exposure.  Not only that—the roads through Mountain Park Home are basically a cruel trick to real estate brokers who aren’t familiar with the area!  It is a labyrinth of poorly planned intersections and loops that only make sense to the most creative road planners…  Here the 5 MPH speed limit seems to make sense!

The close in location makes it close to great dining, shopping, entertainment at the Little Bear and more.  The neighborhood also has easy access to and from highway 73 and 74 (up Evergreen Parkway toward I-70 and down Bear Creek Road to Morrison) and is accessed from Little Cub Creek Road from Highway 73 or Forest Hill Road from right downtown.

The homes in Mountain Park Home run the gamut, from tiny, starter and bank owned homes in the low 100’s to luxurious 10,000 square foot luxury mountain estates priced at over a mountain park home cabin fsbomillion dollars.  The majority of the homes are located on lots of a half acre or less in size and the driveways, access and overall grades must be considered before putting one of these homes on your short list! There can be something for everyone in  Mountain Park Home, whether you are looking for a rustic mountain cabin dating back to the early days in Evergreen (we’ll call that the 1920’s) or a new, modern masterpiece with world class mountain views.  The homes take full advantage of the Rocky Mountain setting.  Some of them even have views out to Evergreen Lake and Mount Evans.

Mountain Park Home is located near open space parks like Bell Park, Pence Park and Cub Creek Park, as well as Dedisse Park (Evergreen Lake).  Outdoor recreation is abundant.  Whether you like to fish and canoe around the lake, mountain bike or hike, the area of Evergreen offers a year round mountain lifestyle that is tough to beat.  The whole atmosphere of Mountain Park Home—as the name implies, is one of a summer camp among a collection of log cabins nestled in the trees.

Approximately 35 minutes from the city of Denver, Mountain Park Home is Evergreen living at its finest, a neighborhood in the mountains.  Convenient, beautiful and accessible the community of Mountain Park Home has everything to offer for people who desire the Colorado mountain lifestyle.

Mary N Williams subdivision is to the north, across Bear Creek Road (the main drag in downtown Evergreen) and wraps around to the west of Mountain Park Home while Bear Mountain Vista is adjacent to the east and uphill…
