The $500-600k price range in Evergreen is very active.  In fact in 2016 we've already seen over one hundred homes sold in this price range!  Of the 13 active homes for sale right now (see below) I 'd want to see these three if I were in the market:

I'm a fan of Sunset Ridge in Kittredge and have helped several families call it home over the years.  Homes here were built between 2003 and 2007 and can have fantastic views of Mount Evans.  Once you get used to the steep access road the location works pretty well for a lot of people.  Its approximately 3 miles from downtown Evergreen and is a cluster of some of the newest homes in the area.  Typically the home sites are smaller than what we expect in Evergreen but this density creates a unique and welcoming neighborhood environment for residents.

This home is in excellent condition and has the views typical for the area (great) and I especially like the location at the corner of Sweetbriar and a quiet cul de sac Moonshadow.

In terms of pricing; this home is at approximately $202/Foot total which is a full $25/Ft more than the home I sold across the street early in the year.  However, subjectively, the finish work and materials combined with the market appreciation and lack of quality supply might support this price.  We'll see.

I like new construction in Evergreen!  Although it's evident that the best home sites in town have been developed years ago.  There's something to be said for state of the art construction and the latest design elements-- American Parkway does a good job of bringing it together!  This one made the cut due to its outstanding materials, colors and the fact that its a ranch style home (single story) in North Evergreen.

Bergen Creek is an interesting location just south of the Hiwan Golf Club neighborhood  and Lewis Ridge Road.  There are only 21 homes in the entire subdivision, which for the most part is right on Lewis Ridge Road, disbursed through three short culdesacs and adjacent to Sun Ridge condos to the south.  These homes were all built in '93 and '94 by the Genessee Company.  This one has been updated quite a bit and has a great deal of pride-of-ownership.  Although its backing Lewis Ridge the price has been gradually coming down over the last several months and is pretty close to appropriately adjusting for it!  Overall, I think this is becoming a good value for its north Evergreen spot, cleanliness, architecture and condition.
