Grab your snacks and get your playlists ready, we’re going on a road trip!

Whether you've got a three-day weekend coming up that you want to take advantage of or you're looking for a getaway from Evergreen, we have some suggestions to make the most of your weekend trip.

1. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater

The Red Rocks Amphitheater is one of the most iconic venues in the world. If you’re visiting Evergreen or live here year-round, Red Rocks isn’t far but it’s a wonderful place to visit. Make sure to check the schedule because big-name acts come here all of the time!

2. Denver

While Denver is close by, we don’t always make it out to the city to explore as much as we’d like to. Take a day to walk around, enjoy the local food scene, maybe venture into the zoo, watch a football game, head into a museum, and take in the city sights.

3. Winter Park

Between breathtaking views and all different types of skiing experiences to be had, Winter Park is a favorite. There is always something going on here, so everyone will find something they love about it. Head out on a snowshoe tour, take ski lessons, hit the slopes, or enjoy one of their events throughout the year.

4. Garden of the Gods

Marvel at one of the most amazing rock formations in the world! There are several different ways to experience this beautiful park from hiking, biking, and rock climbing to horseback riding and jeep tours. Be sure to catch the sunset - they’re magical.

5. Aspen

While Aspen is the longest distance from Evergreen on the list, this gorgeous ski resort town is a year-round destination for everything outdoorsy. Here you’ll find high-end restaurants, lots of shopping, and museums to explore if winter sports aren’t your thing.
